This is the detachable blending shaft that locks onto the motor unit and does all the work — soups, purées, smoothies, milkshakes, baby food, batters, gravies, sauces and dressings. Supplied as a full assembly, not a bare shaft: stainless steel bar, integrated blade at the base, bell guard and the locking collar that engages the motor unit. Straight swap, nothing to transfer from the old part. Replace the bar when the shaft is bent or dented, when the blade is chipped, blunt or seized, when rust or discolouration has set in, when the blade stops turning even though the motor runs, or when the locking collar no longer clicks securely into the motor unit. Rust-free stainless steel construction rated for hot liquids straight in the pot. The bell guard at the base is shaped to draw ingredients into the blade and create a proper blending vortex — smoother results, less splashing, and no blade contact with your vessel base. Blade geometry matched to the original specification so blending performance stays as it was when the machine was new. Twist-lock fitment onto the motor unit — no tools or modification needed. Detach the old bar, wipe the motor coupling clean, and lock the new one on until it clicks. Rinse the bar under running water after each use; never immerse the motor unit. Sold as one complete assembly. Please note: bar length, blade design and collar fitment differ across hand blender models — the HL1680 and HL1681 bars are not interchangeable.
