Preethi's food processor lid assembly with lid ring (Preethi part 41900244) for the Preethi Zodiac Cosmo (MG 236). It is the clear lid of the Master Chef Plus jar, with its feed chute, a black lock piece and the black lid ring, as in the photos.
You feed vegetables down the chute and press them with the pusher. The lid must lock on the bowl: Preethi says the Cosmo does not switch on unless the jar and its lid are fitted correctly. Replace the lid when it is cracked, the chute or lock piece is broken, or it will not lock.
Check before you order: this lid is for the Cosmo. The pusher and the bowl are separate parts.
A cracked or loose lid is a splash and a spill risk, and on a pressure appliance it stops the unit holding pressure at all.
