Vidiem's dome gasket for the 0.5 litre clear (polycarbonate) dome lid, Vidiem part no. FG-SP0047-AA. It is the black sealing ring round the rim of the dome, where the dome meets the jar.
The ring keeps the lid tight on the jar, so nothing sprays out while the mixer runs. Change it when liquid leaks from under the lid, the lid feels loose during grinding, or the ring has stretched, torn or gone hard.
Check before you order: the pack reads 0.5L (PC Dome), so it is for that dome only. Vidiem's big gaskets for 0.75, 1 and 1.5 litre domes and its commercial gaskets are other sizes. Seat the new ring evenly all round the dome.
