Hawkins' lid handle with rivets for the intermediate series (code LPHI): the plastic grip on the lid of the larger Hawkins cookers. Hawkins lists it for cookers from 8 litre Wide to 12 litre, such as the Classic 8 litre Wide, 10 and 12 litre and the Hevibase 8 litre, and for the Hawkins Stainless Steel 8 and 10 litre.
Replace it if it is cracked, burnt or broken. Some play in a lid handle is normal, Hawkins explains, because it helps the lid seat and seal.
