Eureka Forbes' Aquaguard Nanopore Sedi Shield sediment filter, sold as Sedi 9 inch Nano PL6 (part no. GWPMSSNP600006). It is the first filter stage and traps dust, dirt and mud. Eureka Forbes says Sedi Shield removes particles larger than 5 micron.
The pack gives its standard size as 10 inch long and 61 mm across, with a built-in 5/16 inch quick-fit connector. It is the non-EA version (NONEA on the label).
Replace it when the flow drops or the filter looks brown. With borewell or tanker water it clogs sooner.
