Zedflow's Royal RO membrane, rated 100 GPD, in Zedflow's own box. As in the photos, it is a wrapped membrane element with a blue brine seal at one end and a centre tube with two black O-rings at the other.
The membrane is the main purifying stage of an RO purifier: it holds back most of the dissolved salts. 100 GPD (gallons per day) is its rated output. Replace it when the purified water tastes salty, its TDS reading rises, or the flow stays low even after new pre-filters.
