Ultra's jar coupler, part FA3A240400, which Ultra lists for the Vario+, Stealth, Metamix, Topp+ and Topp+ Liquidizer mixer grinders. It is the black six-claw drive piece under the jar, with a brass threaded centre that screws onto the blade spindle, as in the photos.

The jar coupler locks into the motor coupler and turns the blade. Replace it when its claws are worn, rounded or broken, the jar slips or rattles on the base, or the blade does not turn with the motor.

Check before you order: this part is a coupler, not a jar base. The Choice+ and Meta 1000 take a different jar coupler (FA20240400).

The coupler is the rubber or nylon drive piece between the motor shaft and the jar. It is meant to fail before the motor does, so it is the first thing to check when a jar spins slowly or slips.
