Prestige's visual pressure indicator with a red grommet, for stainless steel Deluxe Alpha cookers, including the Deluxe Alpha Svachh. Prestige's item name reads VPI with Red Grommet for SS Alpha Deluxe.
Prestige says the Deluxe Alpha's pressure indicator lets you know when it is safe to open the cooker. The red grommet is the ring that seals the indicator in the lid. Replace both when the indicator sticks, steam escapes around it, or the grommet has hardened or torn.
