Vinod's silicone gasket for 5 litre outer-lid cookers and the Junior pressure pan (Vinod SKU SGOPC5). Vinod lists it for the Regular 5 litre and Platinum 5 litre pressure cookers and the Junior pressure pan, the 3.5 litre deep pan cooker that shares the 5 litre lid.
The ring seals the lid on the body so the cooker can hold pressure. Replace it when steam comes out around the lid, the whistle is late, or the ring is hard, cracked or loose.
Check before you order: the pack sticker reads 5 Litre Pressure Cooker, Platinum and Junior pressure pan. The Splendid Plus 5.5 litre and the Kraft Aluminium Junior pan use a different gasket.
