About this part
- For Aquaguard RO purifiers, fitted on the inlet water line
- PL6 version with 5/16 inch tube connectors
- Rated up to 6000 litres by Eureka Forbes
- Tube, connectors and mounting screws included
Eureka Forbes' Aquaguard Pre Filter Assembly RO - PL6, for Aquaguard RO water purifiers. It is a separate filter housing that goes on the water line before the purifier.
It traps dirt and other suspended particles before they reach the purifier, so the filters inside last longer. Eureka Forbes rates it at up to 6000 litres.
In the pack, as listed by Eureka Forbes: the pre-filter, two 1/4 inch BSP x 5/16 inch tube connectors, 1 metre of PL6 tube, two mounting screws and two screw inserts.
Check before you order: this is the PL6 version, with 5/16 inch tube connectors. Eureka Forbes also sells an RO pre-filter assembly with 1/4 inch connectors and PL4 tube.
Filters are consumables rated in litres rather than months, and Bengaluru hard water uses that life up faster than the sticker suggests.

Eureka Forbes Aquagurad Pre Filter Assembly… — questions we get asked
How much is the Eureka Forbes Aquagurad Pre Filter Assembly RO-PL6?
₹1,040, and that is what you pay — the amount is restated before you confirm and nobody re-prices it after opening the appliance. Fitting, if you want it, is quoted separately and agreed first.
Will it fit my water purifier?
Filter and membrane fitment depends on the purifier model and its housing size, not just the brand. Send us the model number and we will confirm the right consumable. WhatsApp a photo of the appliance and of the failed part, and we will confirm the match before you pay for anything.
Do I have to book a technician to buy it?
No — buy the filter on its own if you are confident fitting it. If you would rather not, book a water purifier visit and the technician arrives with it, so the repair finishes in one trip.
How soon can I have it in Bangalore?
It is in stock in Bengaluru. Parts we hold locally usually reach a job the same day, and most repairs booked against them close within 12 hours across the city.
Can I get a GST invoice?
Yes. This part invoices under HSN 84219900, and a GST invoice is raised for the order — which is what a technician or a dealer buying for a workshop needs.
