Panasonic's shaft assembly for Panasonic mixer jars, on Panasonic's own blister card. As in the photo, it is a steel shaft threaded at both ends, with a black sleeve, a steel washer and a hex nut.
It is the shaft of the jar's blade unit: the blade sits on the top end inside the jar, and the coupler screws on the bottom end. Replace it when the blade wobbles, the shaft is bent or tight, or a thread is stripped.
Check before you order: compare the length and the threads with your old shaft. Panasonic has not published which jars use it.
