Panasonic's jar base A in black. It is the plastic ring at the bottom of a Panasonic mixer jar that sits on the mixer and turns to lock. Its label shows how to set the jar, turn to lock and turn to unlock. A tab on the rim works with the jar's safety lock.
The same black base, with the same moulded mark inside, is on the Panasonic MX-SM11 mill jar in our photos. That jar is for the MX-AC210 to MX-AC555 mixers.
Replace it when the base is cracked, or its lugs or tab are broken and the jar will not lock.
