Bergner's silicone sealing ring for the Argent Avinash 2.5 litre, the tri-ply stainless steel inner lid cooker. The Bergner pack says Argent Inner Lid, 2.5 litre.
It fits in the rim of the inner lid and stops steam escaping, so the cooker can reach pressure. Change it when steam hisses out around the lid, the cooker takes longer to whistle, or the ring feels hard, has cracks or no longer holds its shape.
Check before you order: it only fits the 2.5 litre. The 1.5 litre takes SPR-139, and the 3.5 and 5 litre take SPR-137. The ring is translucent and printed with the ISI mark and IS 7466. Bergner part no. SPR-138.
