A 10 inch inline cartridge for RO water purifiers. The label and the box read Peora Copper with Alkaline Filter, so it combines a copper stage and an alkaline stage. It has a copper-brown body with clear end caps, as in the photo.
It is fitted after the RO membrane, as an extra stage for the purified water. Replace it along with your other filters at a service, or if it leaks or cracks.
