Effective Date: September 5, 2026
These terms apply when you book a repair, service or spare part from KitchenPro Service ("KitchenPro", "we", "us") through our website or our mobile apps. By placing a booking or an order you accept them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What we do
KitchenPro Service arranges doorstep repair, servicing and cleaning of kitchen and home appliances in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and sells spare parts. Work is carried out at your home by our verified technicians.
We serve selected areas of Bengaluru. If your address falls outside the areas we cover, the app will tell you before you book.
2. Booking a service
- You must give a working phone number. We verify it by OTP, and we use it to reach you about the job.
- You choose a date and a time slot. Slots have limited capacity, so the slot you pick is confirmed only once the booking is placed.
- A booking is confirmed when it appears in your app with a confirmed status. A technician is assigned to it separately, and you will see who is coming.
- Please make sure somebody aged 18 or over is at the address during the slot, and that the technician can reach the appliance.
3. Prices, taxes and quotes
The price you are shown is the price you pay. Every price quoted in the app or on our website already includes our platform fee and all applicable government taxes, and is rounded to the rupee. There are no charges added afterwards.
- Service prices are shown before you book. They are the starting price for that service.
- If the technician finds that more work or a spare part is needed, that is quoted to you separately and added only after you approve it. You are never billed for work you did not agree to.
- Spare parts are charged at the price shown for the part, plus applicable taxes.
- Prices change from time to time, and promotional prices run for limited periods. The price that applies is the one shown when you book.
4. The visit, and how a job is closed
We aim to reach most jobs within 12 hours of booking. Traffic, weather and the number of jobs already booked can affect this, and an arrival window is an estimate rather than a guarantee.
You confirm the work before you are billed. When the technician finishes, the job is closed only after you confirm it — the technician cannot close it or raise the bill on his own. If you are not satisfied with the work, do not confirm it; tell the technician, or contact us on the details below.
5. Payment
- You can pay online (UPI, card, netbanking or wallet) through our payment provider, or in cash to the technician.
- Online payments are processed by our payment gateway. We do not see or store your card, UPI or netbanking credentials.
- Payment falls due once you have confirmed the job as complete.
- An invoice is issued for every completed job and is available in the app.
6. Cancellation
6.1 Before the technician arrives
You can request a cancellation from the app at any time before the technician reaches you. Our office reviews the request. Cancelling before arrival is free.
6.2 After the technician arrives
Once the technician has reached your address, a visiting charge may apply. That charge is fixed at the time you book, is shown on the job in your app, and is often zero — you can see the exact amount before you cancel. If it applies, it is payable to the technician for the visit made. No charge beyond it is raised for a cancelled job.
6.3 Cancellation by us
Occasionally we may have to cancel — a technician falls ill, the appliance turns out to be beyond our scope, or your address is outside the area we can reach. We will tell you as soon as we know, and anything you have already paid for that job is refunded in full.
6.4 Refunds
Approved refunds on online payments are returned to the payment method you used. The time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
7. Warranty
Warranty is set per service and per part, and the number of days is shown on that service or part before you book. Most of our services carry a service warranty; a few carry none, and where that is the case it is stated on the service itself. Please check the warranty shown for what you are booking — we do not apply a single blanket period across everything.
A warranty covers the same fault recurring on the same appliance, from the same work. It does not cover:
- a different fault, or a different appliance;
- damage from misuse, an accident, water ingress, power surge, pests or normal wear;
- work done on the appliance by anyone else after our visit;
- consumable items, and parts supplied by you.
To claim, raise a complaint from the job in your app, or contact us on the details below, within the warranty period.
8. Spare parts and deliveries
- Parts fitted during a job are billed on that job.
- Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty where one applies, plus any warranty we state on the part.
- We do not accept returns. A part that is faulty on arrival, damaged, or the wrong one is replaced; parts correctly supplied and fitted are not returnable, for reasons of safety. See our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Stock and delivery times shown are indicative and can change.
9. Safety — gas and electrical appliances
Work on gas appliances and on mains electrical appliances must only be done by a trained person. Please do not attempt repairs on a gas connection, regulator or a suspected gas leak yourself.
If you smell gas: close the cylinder valve, do not operate any electrical switch, open windows and doors to ventilate, leave the area, and call us or your gas supplier immediately.
You agree to tell the technician about any known hazard at the property before work starts.
10. Your responsibilities
- Give a correct address and contact number.
- Provide safe access to the appliance, and to power and water where the work needs them.
- Move fragile or valuable items away from the work area before the technician starts.
- Do not offer or pay the technician anything outside the app's billed amount. If a technician asks for a payment that is not on your bill, please report it to us.
- Treat our technicians with respect. We may refuse or stop service where a technician is abused, threatened or put at risk.
11. Our responsibility, and its limits
We are responsible for carrying out the work you booked with reasonable skill and care, and for the conduct of our technicians while they are at your home. Where we get something wrong, tell us and we will put it right — by re-doing the work, or by refunding it.
We are not responsible for a fault that already existed in the appliance and was not part of the work you booked, for an appliance that cannot be economically repaired, or for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of income or spoiled food. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian law.
12. Your account
Your account is personal to you. Keep your phone and OTP secure — bookings made from your account are treated as made by you. You can delete your account at any time from your Profile in the app, or on our Account Deletion page. Any unused wallet balance is forfeited on deletion.
We may suspend or close an account that is used for fraud, abuse of our technicians, repeated false bookings, or any unlawful purpose.
13. Offers and coupons
Coupons and promotional offers are limited in time, may be limited to one use per customer or to a first booking, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Where an offer is cancelled along with the booking it applied to, the offer may become available to you again. We may withdraw an offer that is being misused.
14. Your data
How we handle your personal information — including the location data the app uses to reach you — is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
15. Complaints
If something goes wrong, raise a complaint on the job in your app, or contact us using the details below. We would much rather hear from you and fix it than have you left with a bad repair.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the Effective Date shown above. Your booking is governed by the terms in force on the day you place it.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
