Butterfly's Sub Junior 'F' gasket, the mini size of the F type: the sealing ring for the 3 litre Butterfly Genial and Friendly aluminium pressure cookers. The pack says Sub Junior 'F' and food-grade nitrile rubber.
Once fitted in the lid rim, it seals the lid so pressure can build. Change it when steam hisses out around the lid, the whistle is much slower than before, or the rubber is hard, cracked or slack.
Check before you order: the 5 litre Genial takes the Junior 'F', and the 7.5 to 12 litre Genial and Friendly take the Senior 'F'. Aluminium Standard cookers of 2 and 3 litres take the Sub Junior 'R' instead.
