Butterfly's Sub Junior 'R' gasket: the sealing ring for Butterfly's 2 and 3 litre aluminium cookers in the Standard, Standard Plus, Elegant Plus, Pearl Plus and Superb Plus ranges. The pack says Sub Junior 'R' and food-grade nitrile rubber.
The gasket sits in the rim of the lid and seals it, so pressure can build. Replace it when steam leaks from under the lid, the whistle takes much longer than before, or the ring is hard, cracked or loose.
Check before you order: the 5 litre of these ranges takes the Junior 'R'. The 3 litre Genial takes the Sub Junior 'F', and the 2 and 3 litre Blueline and Curve steel cookers take the Sub Junior 'U'.
