A compatible gasket for Nandi stainless steel pressure cookers of the junior size: a black rubber sealing ring, as in the photo.
It fits in the lid rim and seals the lid against the body when the cooker is closed. Change it when steam escapes around the lid, the whistle is much slower than before, or the rubber has hardened, cracked or stretched.
