A capillary thermostat for geysers, listed by our supplier as 4 pin. The label reads Rolex GY-24, WHD 90A-ZJ, AC 125V/250V 20A 50/60Hz. As in the photo, it has a grey switch body with brass tab terminals, and a copper capillary tube in a black sleeve that ends in the sensing bulb.
The bulb sits in the geyser's sensor pocket. When the water reaches the set temperature, the thermostat cuts power to the heating coil, and it switches the coil back on as the water cools. Replace it when the geyser does not heat, overheats, or never cuts off. A burnt coil or a tripped cut-out can look similar, so have it tested first.
