A short magnesium anode rod for storage geysers. As in the photos, it is a plain grey metal rod with a threaded stud at one end, shorter than our long rod.
The anode is sacrificial: it corrodes so the tank does not, and it wears away faster with hard water. Replace it when the old rod is thin, pitted or mostly gone. Our technician can check it when descaling the geyser or changing the coil.
Check before you order: match the length, the thickness and the stud with your old rod. If your geyser takes a longer rod, see our long anode rod. Fitting means draining the geyser. Book a geyser service and our technician will fit it.
