A small capillary thermostat for geysers, listed by our supplier as 4 pin. As in the photo, it has a grey switch body with two brass tab terminals on top and a round sensing head, and a copper capillary tube in a black sleeve that ends in a copper bulb with a red sleeve.
Its bulb reads the water temperature in the geyser, and the switch cuts the heating coil at the set temperature. Replace it when the geyser stays cold, gets too hot, or keeps heating without cutting off. A burnt coil can cause similar signs, so have the geyser tested first.
