Panasonic's cutter base for Panasonic mixer jars, listed by our supplier as Cutter Base (U). As in the photos, it is a round black plastic base with a bronze bush in the centre and four screw holes.
It sits under the jar and holds the blade shaft, which turns in the bronze bush. Replace it when the bush is worn and the blade wobbles or rubs, or the base is cracked.
Check before you order: compare the diameter, the screw holes and the notch on the rim with your old base. Panasonic has not published which jars use it. The blade, the shaft and the couplers are sold separately.
