About this part
- Fits all Bergner Argent Classic sizes
- Tapered black Bakelite, Bergner logo on top
- Comes in Bergner's own box, part SPR-179
Bergner's lid handle for the Argent Classic, Bergner's tri-ply stainless steel outer lid cooker. The Bergner box says it fits all sizes of the Argent Classic.
It is the long handle on the lid, used to turn and lift the lid. It is black Bakelite, tapered, with the Bergner logo on top and a channel underneath. Replace it when it is cracked, burnt or loose, or when it no longer lines up with the body handle as you close the lid.
Check before you order: it is only for the Argent Classic. The Pura, the Pura Globe and Trimax, and the Sorrento each take their own lid handles. Bergner part no. SPR-179.
A cracked or loose lid is a splash and a spill risk, and on a pressure appliance it stops the unit holding pressure at all.
