A compatible safety valve sold under the Orange name. The sticker on the back of the card says it is for the Orange Platina series, and the front of the card says it suits all sizes of outer lid and inner lid pressure cookers.
The safety valve is a back-up on the lid: if steam cannot escape through the vent, it lets the pressure out. Replace it when it leaks or is damaged.
Check before you order: safety valves differ in size and thread between cooker brands. Compare it with your old valve; this one has a hex metal body, as in the photos. If the safety valve lets steam out while you cook, turn off the flame and let the cooker cool fully before you open it.
