The whistle (weight valve assembly) for Pigeon stainless steel pressure cookers. The one in the photos has a black knob with the Pigeon bird logo on top and a steel sleeve engraved with the Pigeon name.
It sits on the vent tube in the lid. When the cooker reaches its working pressure the weight lifts and lets steam out: that is the whistle. Replace it when the whistle does not come or comes very late, steam escapes all the time, or the valve is damaged or lost.
